Based on the high performance ST7735 controller this 1.8″ display is capable of displaying full 18-bit color, an amazing 262,144 colors on it’s 20480 pixels. This particular device has 2 extra pixel lines in the horizontal and vertical planes allowing a pixel border to be aded to existing layouts if required. With code examples widely available for the ST7735, the programming overhead requirement is also low, which means quicker time to market.
